Mayoral Manifesto banner-1 Jobs and GG

We have today launched a manifesto, on behalf of WPA and CPA members, calling on the next Mayor of London to realise central London’s potential for economic growth, jobs and new workspace.

Ahead of the Mayoral election on 2 May, London Property Alliance sets out five ways through which the successful candidate can work with the property industry to ensure that London retains its position as a leading global city amid fierce competition to attract world-class businesses and talent.

The Alliance is calling on the next Mayor to utilise their powers over planning, economic development and transport to unleash central London’s economic potential and drive employment. This includes adopting a more flexible approach to development in the capital's Central Activities Zone (CAZ+), to securing a long-term funding package for TfL and delivering a clear vision to make London a global life sciences superpower.

Read coverage of LPA’s Mayoral Manifesto in EG (£) and look out for our forthcoming research from Arup which explores the growth scenarios for the capital’s CAZ+.
