Join us at our upcoming interactive breakfast seminar to explore the tensions between delivering high-quality, amenity-rich office space that ‘earn the commute of the worker’, whilst adhering to stretching climate targets on both embodied and operational carbon.
Hosted at Edenica, 100 Fetter Lane, this latest development by BauMont Real Estate Capital and YardNine will provide 90,000 sq ft of Grade A office workspace and includes benefits such as natural ventilation, terraces and a public garden. Designed by Fletcher Priest Architects and Waterman Group, it is the first UK scheme to adopt 'material passporting' and whole life cycle building analysis, while also using NABERS to monitor and verify operational performance.
Renowned columnist and associate editor for the Financial Times and former The Economist political correspondent, Janan Ganesh, will be delivering the keynote speech at this year's CPA Annual Lunch in May.
During his speechJanan will share his unique insights on economic growth, the current political landscape and the evolving US-UK relationship, unpacking its impact on the City of London, trade and national security.

CPA Chair Ross Sayers (Landsec) was quoted in Green Street NewsStreet discussing our Cycling & the Cityreport which finds that current London Plan targets would require the delivery of 42,500 sqm of cycle parking space – approximately the size of ‘The Can of Ham’ – and generate a total carbon footprint equivalent to the 50-year operational emissions of seven all-electric City office towers.
"Everyone believes in sustainable transport for London... but providing cycle facilities at the scale required by the London Plan comes with a huge carbon and capital cost, with tall buildings disproportionately impacted".
