City of London Corporation announces review of its City Plan & Transport Strategy

Following consultation on the full draft plan in 2021, the City Plan 2040 (previously City Plan 2036) and Transport Strategy are currently under review by the City of London Corporation.

The documents provide an overarching framework for future development in the Square Mile, outlining priorities for people, businesses, places and spaces until 2040. To help inform  the Local Plan (City Plan 2040) and Transport Strategy, the City Corporation is now conducting a series of informal public engagements throughout June. These will include a series of workshops on key topics, transport issues and areas in the City that are likely to experience significant change over the Plan period.

The consultation will run from Thursday 8 to Thursday 29 June.  You can find the full programme of in-person and online events on the Commonplace platform here.
