The seminar will feature a keynote address from the City Corporation's Shravan Joshi MBE, Chairman of the Planning and Transportation Committee, followed by a market update and panel session from the City of London's leading commercial real estate experts. Speakers to be announced shortly.
Tickets are now on sale for our CPA Annual Lunch, taking place on Thursday 15 May at the historic Guildhall.
The lunch is our largest event of the year, attended by more than 600 of the City of London’s real estate professionals and policymakers. It is a perfect opportunity to come together and celebrate the Square Mile's built environment with industry peers and colleagues.
Members can purchase a table of 10*, 12 or individual tickets, with prices frozen for 2025. A champagne reception and half a bottle of wine per person is included in the price. Alternative low and non-alcoholic options are also available on request.

City Corporation's circular economy framework approved
At last week's Court of Common Council, the City of London Corporation approved its Circular Economy Framework and associated Action Plan. The Framework aims is to keep materials in circulation and help the Square Mile become a circular City by 2040. Read the report here.

UK largest net exporter of financial services
New analysis from the City of London Corporation has found an increase in financial and insurance service exports between 2019 and 2023, with the UK remaining the largest net exporter of financial services globally in 2023. The City Corporation has urged the Government to prioritise trade services and ensure that the UK remains open to global investment. Read more here.
New food hall concept for Liverpool Street
BOXHALL City, a new food hall concept, is set to open in Spring 2025 on Liverpool Street. The scheme aims to provide a new dining experience at a historical Edwardian shopping arcade. Read more here.

Consultation on Leadenhall Street still open
The City of London Corporation is calling for feedback to transform Leadenhall Street, with proposed changes seeking to create a more welcoming and sustainable environment. The consultation is open until 9 February. You can find out more here.

Consultation on energy performance reform underway
The Government is consulting on proposed reforms to the Energy Performance of Buildings (EPB) framework, including proposed changes to Energy Performance Certificates (EPC). You can submit your views by 26 Februaryhere.

The Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government (MHCLG) is inviting views on a series of questions that will help inform a future Planning and Infrastructure Bill and potential changes to planning committees.
